An attractive Navajo ring featuring a piece of petrified wood that seems to change color, depending on the light. It looks milky brown-grey in one light and then with a change of lighting, the stone comes alive with orangey rust, black and glowing golden hues that gives it depth. The stone is set in a plain bezel and double framed by applied twisted wire, as well as scalloped wire and silver drops. A size 7, the ring is unmarked, but tests as sterling & weighs in at 9.9 grams. In very nice vintage condition, displaying age appropriate wear.
