Antique Chinese bronze censer (incense burner) in the form of a tripod vessel. The compressed globular body with a waisted neck and everted rim flanked by a pair of Phoenix bird handles. The rounded sides are adorned with two panels; it is engraved on a punched ground with birds and floral patterns. The domed pierced cover is topped with a Chrysanthemum bud. CONDITION: In good condition considering its age, shows its age, and use. It measures 7 1/4" x 5 3/4" x 3 3/4". As-is.
